Dried Fruit Garnishes?

Are your dried fruit garnishes made in New Zealand?

Yes! Every FN Lemons garnish is handcrafted right here in New Zealand by our small team of just two.

From carefully selecting the fruit to slicing, dehydrating, quality checking and packing, every step is done by hand with care and attention to detail. We're passionate about creating premium-quality garnishes that we're proud to put our name on, and because we're a small business, every order genuinely means the world to us.

When you choose FN Lemons, you're not just buying dried citrus—you're supporting a small New Zealand business dedicated to creating beautiful, high-quality products for home entertainers, bars, cafés and events alike.

How long to dried fruit cocktail garnishes last?

When stored sealed and kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, our F N Lemons garnishes have a long shelf life.

  • Dried fruit garnishes and Rim Dust typically last at least 12 months.
  • Dried edible florets typically last at least 2 years.

Because our products are made with natural ingredients and carefully dried, they can often last even longer when stored in good conditions.

Do dried fruit garnishes go mouldy?

When stored correctly, dried fruit garnishes are very unlikely to go mouldy. Our dried citrus is carefully dehydrated to remove moisture, helping to naturally extend its shelf life without the need for preservatives.

To keep your garnishes in the best condition, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and always reseal the packaging after use. Avoid exposing them to moisture or humidity, as this can reduce their shelf life and may encourage mould growth over time.

Our dried fruit garnishes have a shelf life of 12–18 months, so you can always have premium cocktail garnishes on hand whenever you need them.

Why use dried fruit instead of fresh fruit?

Because life's too short for sad, shrivelled lemons hiding in the bottom of the fridge! 🍋

Dried fruit garnishes give you all the wow factor of fresh citrus without the slicing, mess or waste. With a shelf life of 12–18 months, they're always ready when cocktail hour (or mocktail hour!) calls.

Made from real fruit, our dried garnishes add beautiful colour, natural citrus aroma and a touch of flavour, while giving every drink a polished, professional finish. They're perfect for home entertainers, bars, cafés, weddings and events, helping you create stunning drinks in seconds.

Less prep, less waste, more time to enjoy your drink – that's a win in our books!

Can your dried citrus garnishes be used in tea?

Absolutely! Our dried citrus garnishes aren't just for cocktails—they're a delicious addition to tea too. Simply pop a dried lemon, lime, orange or blood orange slice into your favourite black, green or herbal tea for a subtle burst of natural citrus flavour and a beautiful finishing touch.

They're also perfect for hot toddies, mulled drinks and fruit-infused hot water. Once you've finished your drink, you can even eat the softened fruit if you wish!

With a long shelf life and no slicing required, they're an easy way to keep a little citrus on hand whenever you need it.

Rim Dust Salt and Sugars?

What is in a Cocktail Rim Salt and Sugar

Our Rim Dust blends are made using natural ingredients wherever possible. We combine salt, sugar, real fruit powders and carefully selected spices or botanicals to create bold, balanced flavours.

We use real fruit to provide flavour and colour and do not use artificial flavourings. Because our products are made with natural ingredients and handcrafted in small batches in New Zealand, you may notice slight variations in colour or flavour from batch to batch.

How do I Rim a Cocktail Glass

Applying rim salt or sugar is quick and easy. Simply moisten the rim of your glass using a lemon or lime wedge, or lightly dip the rim in simple sugar syrup. Then gently dip or roll the rim in your FN Lemons Rim Dust until evenly coated.

This creates a beautifully flavoured rim that adds both visual appeal and an extra burst of flavour to your drink.
